My icon is gone on my Galaxy S6 after installing Instagram, how can I get it back?

icon gone on galaxys6 after installing instagram

installed instagram on my galaxys6 and the icon was on there yesterday and it has disappeared today. I uninstalled it and also reset my phone the program is showing installed and running in my application manager but the icon will not appear back as a short cut. I have to access it threw the playstore to open it, help......

Welcome to Android Central! Open the App Drawer (i.e., tap the button on the lower row that looks like a grid of dots), find Instagram there, long-press it, then drag a shortcut back to the homescreen.
