My keyboard does not show up for my samsung S5

I was not able to send a sms. I tried checking it in settings, showing an error message that the keyboard/keypad is not responding.

Welcome to Android Central! Does this persist after a reboot? How about after going to the App Manager, selecting your keyboard app, and Clearing Cache/Data?
