My LG G2 gives me a not responding error and won't open, how to fix this?

As soon as I try to open settings I get the message and it closes before it is ever loaded. I am not sure if there have been apps auto updating or anything. i am sure that there has. But it worked just fine until yesterday and then just quit.

Welcome to Android Central! What exactly does the message say is not responding? Does this happen after a reboot?
