I left the house for a couple of hours and came back to the phones display bring unresponsive and the LED being green even though it wasn't on charge. The phone was warm and the buttons on the back were unresponsive. I pulled out the battery and placed it back in and it's not turning back on or charging. Tried different batteries and different chargers. Is it just dead now? Anything I can do?

Welcome to Android Central! Merged duplicate threads.

With a new battery, what happens if you press and hold Power for about 15-20 seconds? Do you hear any sound or feel any vibrations? If not, then I'd guess it's a problem with the motherboard.

No response at all. If that's the case, do you have any idea what might have caused it and how much it fixing it would cost?

Sorry, I don't know what specific part it might be. The G3 became somewhat infamous for bootloops, so it could be related. If you brought it to a repair shop, you could ask them to see if the problem is related to the power button or battery connections, which would likely be relatively cheap to fix. But if they have to replace the whole motherboard, it might not be worth the cost.
