My Lollipop update completed but now I am in demo mode. How do I get out of it?

Lollipop update completed but...

Now my phone seems to be stuck in demo mode. How do I exit demo mode? I tried to delete the vz demo app but it reinstall itself

Good, this means that Verizon is legitimately pushing the OTA.

I could have swarn there was a demo mode that you can put it in and take it out, but I can't find it. Atleast not on 4.4. I don't have 5.0 yet. Have you tried a Factory Reset? I'd highly suggest that if your phone just updated to 5.0 I don't know that it will get rid of the demo mode for sure, but it's got a good chance of fixing your problem and any other wierd things that will happen along the way. In my opinion, if carriers made you perform a FDR after a major update, they'd have less problems.

Keep in mind, a FDR will wipe out all of your data, so back up first.

It sounds like they are now unable to back anything up due to Demo Mode overriding their phone's normal functions.

You have purchased, or have received a Verizon Store phone, that runs demo software automatically. I helped a friend with Galaxy S5 they bought off the streets. It was a stolen phone from a Verizon store. I think if you look at Administrator Options, you will set the demo part listed. But it was not removable, rendering the phone useless.
