My phone continues to slow by the day.
I notice it the most when texting. Its downright slow.

Ive erased as many text as I can, closed all unused apps and tried starting/restarting the phone multiple times.

Are there any "speed up your HTC M8" guides out there that someone can point me to?

Or any advice/help is greatly appreciated!

Try Clearing all of your apps cache , That helps speed up your phone a lot .. go to settings > apps > all .. and try to clear the cache out of most apps , usually facebook , chrome etc.. And try to uninstall apps you dont use often . Good luck

I find that my phone gets really slow when I have less than 1gb phone storage left. So I transfer photos and videos to my sd card. My phone then becomes much faster when I've freed some phone memory up

If it still slows down, back up your data and perform a full factory reset.

I don't know why that happens, but phones do tend to slow down over time as more and more stuff gets installed and more and more junk accumulates over time as a result.

A full factory reset clears all of that and makes your phone perform just as if it is unboxed for the very first time.
