I restarted the phone and it keeps bringing up the message. Why is it Crashing and are others experiencing this?

Have you tried the prerequisite uninistall/reinstall or going to the play store to see if there's an updated version? Also, take a look at the reviews for the app, sometimes you'll find people commenting on issues related to certain devices.

I'm getting that also. As it's a preloaded systems app, you won't find it in the playstore. It's nothing more than a Samsung themed Flipboard app. I'm going to freeze it as I prefer Flipboard.

Yeah I think. It a Samsung server thing. How do you freeze it? I'm guessing you disabled it in app manager.

Been getting it for the last day. Especially annoying as I had zero problems with my Note 3 until this. 2013-10-11-10-42-01.png

I just found mine (by accident) and it worked ok. One thing I noticed, there are like 3-4 agreement check boxes you have to check when you first set it up. Do you think maybe you didn't check all licensing agreements? I can see why it would fault out if you didn't give it all the permissions it wanted. Clear the cache/data from Applications manager and set it up again from scratch to see if that resolves the issue.

Once you set up and start using the Magazine, is there a way to stop it ?

I have no idea how to. App manager doesn't let you turn it off. So maybe just clearing data and not setting it up. Very annoying.

Clearly there's an issue on Samsungs end. Multiple people are experiencing it.

Try flushing the current data and cache and set it up as new and make sure all agreement boxes are checked to confirm that it's an issue with the App. Mine is working fine right now, although I may have to turn mine off since I didn't care for Vista's newsfeed widget, and this thing looks similar.

I've cleared the cashe on mine via app manager now working fine but still no facebook link

Mine was still crashing after clearing the cache. It goes in and out. Like I said way to coincidental to be anything besides something on Samsungs end.

Is there a setting to turn it off? Or is the only option just to not set it up?

How do you even reset it. Going to app manager and erasing data and cache does not reset it.

Also where is there even an option for Facebook link. I only see twitter as an option under social among others but Facebook is definitely not one of them.

When you go into app management, you can do a "force stop" and then the "Turn off" feature should be available.

I can force stop, clear data, and clear cache, but turn off stays low lit and unable to turn off ....

That's what I'm seeing too. Now when I perform a Force Stop, Clear Data (Cache is cleared at this step) and return to my home screen, I can swipe up and my magazines is prompting me to initialize it, which to me means that it's not turned on. Are you looking to remove it from the swipe feature? I'm thinking that may take a little more than just a removal of the app since the phone is looking for that swipe from bottom up to initialize an app. Think of it like the swipe you do from the top of the screen down to bring down the quick access menu. You'll probably need to root the device in order to remove that function completely (and who knows you can probably replace it with something useful). As for now, once you clear the cache and data, My Magazines shouldn't be running (Oh and keep in mind that there are 2 processes in the Application list for my magazines).
