My ".media" folder is now showing up in my gallery, odd.

I have created a folder with a "." in front of it to hold more sensitive media, the old trick being that this takes it "off the radar" and shouldn't show up when the gallery scans for media. And it has worked fine, but now it is showing up, and only that media which has been added recently, it is still not showing the older media. Does anyone know why that would happen? I have flashed a JB ROM, so maybe that is it, but I can't see why.

No, this is a bug in ICS. You can call it ".whatever" and put a ".nomedia" in it, and new media will still show up. Only work around is to rename the new media to something non-media (eg, mov to mo), scan for new media, then change it back. Obnoxious.
