The MemoPad has been repaired recently. the Motherboard has been replaced, so now I do have other firmware, I think. Previously, I could switch off the option that closing the cover would also make the screen to switch off but I can't find that option anymore.
The problem is that the screen also switches off it I fold the cover against the back of the tablet now, so I must keep the cover half open, which is not a nice way to work.
