My microphone works for phone calls in speakerphone mode but not when i have earphones in.

I have checked the mute setting and the noise reduction setting but no change. When I answer a call with earphones in, the phone mic does not work, people on the other end can't hear me. But when I switch to speakerphone, even with the headphones in, they can hear me. I also tried reseating the battery and SIM card.

This is normal, you need to use a headset with a mic
