My Moto G 3rd gen phone and my smart Sony TV cannot communicate wirelessly.

my Moto G 3rd gen phone and my smart Sony TV cannot communicate wirelessly. The TV can and does either grab pictures from my Samsung tablet or mirrors the screen of the tablet but wont do either with my Moto G 3rd gen phone.

The Samsung tablet likely supports Miracast whereas the Moto G only supports Google Cast.

Try different apps. There is the free app AllConnect which generally works well. Just have to make sure all devices are connected to same wifi.
