My Moto X Pure 2015 sometimes goes wonky.
Every 2 or 3 days my texting takes on a life of its own, printing long strings of nonsensical letters. Hitting the "X" erase doesn't work when this is happening. Touching the text leaves long strings of green lines, similar to as if I am using a drawing app. It's as if Hal (2001 Space Odyssey) takes over.
Turning the phone off, resolves the problem.
Wifi, Bluetooth and NFC is turned off. I have added only 2 apps, Weather Underground and Pedometer. I close my apps as use them.
