My music has disappeared!

I had about 200 songs on my phone, about 40 downloaded through apps andabout 160 transferred from my computer to my phone. But everything that was transferred from my computer is gone. I put all the music that was transferred into a folder and I even downloaded ES File Explorer app to see if the music was somewhere and it was. Its sitting in the folder I put it in, but it won't show up on any music player I have. Anyone have any idea how I can get my music back to play through my music player?

settings>applications>manage applications>music>clear cache.


should rebuild a list of the files.

OR take the SD card out, restart the phone, then put it back in after the phone rebooted. should re scan for media

Try Rescan Media from the market, it's pretty much just a shortcut to the built in media scanner.

*embarrased face* yeah i should probably check that out... been running aosp since I got the phone... wow. haha. could have actually used it many times
