My music plays normally, but when I put my earphones in it stops playing. How can I fix it?

My music plays normally, but when I put my earphones in it stops playing

I tried to listen to music this morning with my earphones but the music wouldn't play and if I pressed the play button it would just pause itself.
But when I didn't use earphones, the music played normally.
The music was working fine last night, so I don't know what happened! Please help!

What device do you have? What music app are you using?

Does this happen when you have music playing through the handset speakers and then plug in headphones, or does this happen when you plug in headphones first and then start playing the music?

Try other headphones. Does it work? If not, it could either be the music player or the headphone jack.

Which device do you have? Always post your device.
