My new Watch Ultra

Partnered this with my new S24U that landed with me yesterday also (superb phone) - moved from a 15PM and AWU2 back to Android and very happy to be back

Really impressed with the Watch Ultra so far; feels superb on the wrist and very well made...

I've fitted the Spigen EZ screen protector to it and the rugged case - I need both to protect it from when I'm training, out in the garden, working on our cars etc (and I'm clumsy at times)

Super-slick to set up; got Google Wallet set as my default pay app and just connected it to EE for mobile network connectivity etc

Running the aftermarket velcro strap for now off Amazon UK; will get some Ultimal straps when they're released in the UK. They're on Amazon currently but have to ship from the US

I've got the OEM orange Marine strap with it too and the OEM orange trail band; will test fit them too and see how they are

So far so good

I'm glad you're enjoying your new watch. I really like Samsung's watches. I wasn't able to view your pictures using my web browser or the Android Central Forums app. Maybe I just need more coffee.

It looks very nice on your wrist. I like that velcro band. I should look into a cloth type band. For me, the silicone straps are becoming a little too warm for the summer.

Spigen makes great protectors for watches. I always put a case on my Watch 6 Classic when I'm camping.

Yeah; not keen on the silicone straps personally. Found them to be uncomfortable on my previous AWU (got the AWU2 with the Alpine loop strap that I never opened as just stuck with the Ultimal straps)

The silicone straps have little give and I've found that I'm at their full opening and still a bit tight; I've got about an inch to play with on this velcro strap for my Watch Ultra; about the same as I had with my AWU & AWU2

Ultimal straps landed today for my GWU; had these straps for my AWU & AWU2 and they're superbly made. Wash really well too

Great if you've large wrists; comfy as well
