My nexus 5 front camera doesn't work.

When I remove & replace the battery - the front camera starts working, but stops after a few hours. Can someone help fix this issue?

Removing and replacing the battery is an extensive procedure on the 5. Did the trouble start after you or someone else fitted a new one?

And possibly loosened the camera connector?
