My Nexus 5 just shut down while it was on charge. Is there anything I can do?

My Nexus 5 just shut down while it was on charge.

Hi, I was using an app on my Nexus 5 while it was charging and the screen just froze so I locked it and when I tried to unlock it, it didn't work. I also tried the power button but it doesn't do anything. Is there anything I can do? Should I take it to a shop?

try holding power button and volume down button at same time.

You might try holding down the power button for a long time until it comes back on.
