My nexus 6p won't power on.

I ran the battery all the way down, until the phone powered down. I believe it's charged. But now it won't power on.
When I try I get a red light in the corner. What should I do?

If it's only discharged to the point that the phone shut off, usually between 10% and 20%, just leave it on the charger for 24 hours.
