My Nexus 7 (2012 Wi-Fi) is stuck on Erasing.. since yesterday, how do I move past this?

My Nexus 7 (2012 Wi-Fi) is stuck on "Erasing..." since yesterday

My Uncle left my Nexus 7 (2012 Wi-Fi) with an empty battery

After charging, the tablet finally turned on but is stuck on Google logo

I decided to fastboot it, then "wiped all data"

Now it is stuck on "Erasing..." state since yesterday (green bugdroid moving its antenna)

Thing is, I can't enter fastboot now.

Whenever I try to hold the power button to turn off the device, it'll turn on automatically, goes to Google logo, then goes back to "Erasing..." state, I can't even enter fastboot to flash stock Android T_T

I know this process takes too long but this is so abnormally long, this is since yesterday!! help me T_T

Plug in the charger and give it at least another 24 hours. Then if it's still "erasing", go to Nexus 7 - XDA Forums and see if any of the devs who have the device have any ideas. (If I had one I'd play with it to see if I could come up with something, but I don't.)
