my Note 2 charger won't charge the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 tablet?

I have a Verizon Galaxy Note 2. The white Samsung charger that came with it won't charge my Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 tablet.

Both chargers say 2.0A output, so I can't understand what the problem is.

The reverse is fine... the Tab 2 7.0's charger can charge the Note 2 to 100% without any issues.

Any guesses as to what the cause could be? Thanks!
