So does is make the phone thicker? On my Note 2 I used an insert I could stick on top of the battery and all dimensions remained the same.

comparing my N3 to the picture above, it looks to add thickness to the height of the camera on the back. Stock it seems to stick out a couple mm. The camera in the picture looks to be flush or even a bit recessed with the charging cover on.

Nope it won't work... I received my kit earlier today and was so pissed to find out that it would not fit in my body glove case that I got from sprint. It could just be my case but still sucks.

For me, one of the best things about this phone is its thinness. That back would ruin it for me.. You get same type of feeling just putting the phone on a charging dock. That's what I am getting .
