my old samsung not turning on

i bought myself a new phone a year ago and put my old samsung galaxy j5 2017 back in the box. the phone was still working then

but i want to do a few things on the phone now but the phone won't work i don't know what to do

the phone doesn't do anything i've tried different chargers but nothing it doesn't even shake

Welcome to Android Central! Let it charge undisturbed for at least 6 hours. Then press and hold Power for about 30 seconds. If nothing happens, then the battery is probably dead. You'd have to bring it to a repair shop for battery replacement.

Sometimes it not good to let a phone in a deep sleep , try leaving it charge for few hours .
