Thank you for your patience! Your AT&T Representative will be with you shortly.
Welcome! You are now chatting with 'Melissa Nistler'

Mark: There are at least three S2 Skyrocket i727 model numbers
SGH-I727MSAATT SGH-I727DAAATT SGH-I727ZWAATT
Can anyone tell me the difference?

Melissa Nistler: Hello there Mark, thanks for chatting in with me on this lovely
afternoon, I can certainly assist you with with your questions about model numbers:)

Mark: There are at least three S2 Skyrocket i727 model numbers
SGH-I727MSAATT SGH-I727DAAATT SGH-I727ZWAATT. What does each
of these model numbers mean? How are they different from each other?

Melissa Nistler: A model number will have similarities with other's but there
are also personalized for eah device, So for instance they can all start with
the same numbers and letters but will end differently. It's another way for the
manufacturer to identify the equiptment.

Mark: But what do each of those 3 numbers mean, and how are they different?
I would like to know. Can someone email me a specific and precise answer to my question?

Melissa Nistler: Like SGH is a sign that you are using a galaxy device, I will look
to see if I can find you more of the answer that you are looking for

Mark: I would like to know for sure.
They are different choices in the menus on the support website.

Melissa Nistler: What are you trying do on the suppor site? I maybe able to
assist you with that?

Mark: I don't need that anymore - I think I was looking for the
correct user manual.

Melissa Nistler: I can send you a link with that correct user manual if you would like

Mark: What I really want is an answer to my original question.
I have used Google and several android forums, but have not been able to find the answer.

Mark: SGH-I727MSAATT SGH-I727DAAATT SGH-I727ZWAATT.
What does each of these model numbers mean? How are they different from each other?

Melissa Nistler: Okay I'm sorry but I was misinformed, model numbers are
designated from us to identify your device, they all differ and don't really mean
anything, It's just for identification purposes.

Mark: Can someone look it up and email me the answer?
There has to be a difference. I think the one with the "W" may be the white phone,
but there are two other model numbers, but only one other color.
I went through a lot of hassle to get this far with my question, and would like a more definitive answer.

Melissa Nistler: It's based off your model, your color, your service provider, that's why they all
change and are different. All of that weighs in with the model number

Mark: I'd still like to know the specifics

Melissa Nistler: Let me go and call Samsung for you so that I can find the answer that you are looking for

Mark: Okay, I'll wait.

Melissa Nistler: This should only take a moment.

Melissa Nistler: Alright so I was informed that the SGH is Stands for Samsung pretty much,
and the last part identifies that AT&T is your service part everything in the middle is just your
model type

Mark: But the MS, DA and ZW in the middle must mean something specific.
Is there a way someone can email me the actual answer?

Melissa Nistler: They do mean something, but Samsung would have to tell if, if
you would like I can provide you with there number and they would be able to answer that for you

Mark: Sure, maybe I can call them when I get home tonight.

Melissa Nistler: Okay, here's the number for Samsung 888-987-4357, is here anything
else that I could assist you with today?

Mark: No, that should do for now.

I know for sure the W is white, because I saw a listing for it, but other than black, what was available?
