outgoing mail stuck somewhere, repeatedly trying to send
Using K9 mail and gmail email accounts with Moto G running android 5.0.2. I keep getting notified that mail is being sent but no messages are showing in outbox. I can send and receive messages alright in both programs. Notifications every few seconds are very annoying, presumably using battery and if I were hooked up to data, would be consuming data usage (presently on wifi with data turned off as away from home country). I have turned off notifications in the settings of both of the email programs and also contacted my mail server (everything there working alright). I have also restarted the phone numerous times. It seems like there could be a message stuck in limbo in the K9 mail program that keeps trying to send but I can't find the actual message to delete it. Any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks.
