My payment apps like gpay, Bhim app are suddenly told me that my device is rooted but it is not.

I have Samsung galaxy m51. Suddenly payment applications like gpay, bhim are not working showing that my device is rooted. But I never rooted my device at all. What can I do now. Please help.

Did you buy the device 2nd hand ? Do you have developer settings on?

You need to run an app called safety test and see what it says. If it fails the safety test app then there is an issue with your phone and you will need to factory reset it to see if it changes back. This is if you got the phone new. If it is second hand then the previous owner may well have rooted the phone.
