My phone can't make calls using Mobile Service

[Android Central Question]

I'm using an LG G8 ThinQ on Google Fi. All of a sudden my phone won't make calls unless I'm on Wi-Fi. I'm having no other service issues. I am receiving LTE service and data is working. But when I try to make a call without Wi-Fi, I am prompted with "no sim card, or sim card error"

I've tried rebooting and cleaning the sim card, but the SIM card is definitely working because I can access the internet. Anybody have any ideas to fix this?

Make sure no damage to the sim , go to settings>connection>find APN and reset it with 3 dots upper right corner
