ok i dont exactly know what i did but i i was messing around in terminal emulator and the widgets i have that should display charger current info actually did. somehow when i did whatever i did it allowed the phone to intake 948mA (verified in sys/devices/platfofrm/msm-battery/power_supply/battery/current_now) but when i unplugged the charger the input went to 0(as expected) but when i plugged it back in it did not show up and when i viewed the current_now file the input was 428 any ideas??????

No ideas, but I'm curious what you were playing around with? I would like to see this info on my phone too.

the only idea I had was to edit an app to read from the file which contains the info

System Monitor app will give you this info.

Charging from computer usb gets me 397.

I used an HTC 1.0A charger gets me 723.

I belive the stock LG 0.7A charger gets 428.
