My phone has been remotely tapped. i have tried everything and am unable to remove the program. The app is called aurora. I believe that there are also other programs but this seems to be the one that i am most concerned about. I know who has tapped my phone and there have been some MAJOR issues to say the very least! This app from the research that i have done is able to do many many things including record audio, video, change and/or edit my text messages. I have even witnessed with my own eyes that i will recieve a message on my phone and when i asked to look at the original message that was sent from their phone, it say the same exact time stamp but the message it completley different from what i recieved! I also at random times see my phone light up as if i am recieving a message or my phone is about to do something but it does nothing and there is nothing. i do believe that this is him making a audio or video recording. PLEASE HELP ME!

Before doing anything, if it is safe to, please ensure that you tell the person to stop stalking you. Preferably with a witness and if you can do so without being in physical contact that is better.

1) If you know who it is, turn the device off, report it to the local police and don't turn the device back on until you are able to demonstrate this tracking to them. What they're doing is illegal. If you are in immediate danger, either now or at any time in the future, immediately call 911.
2) Only after involving investigators and allowing them to gather all the information that they need, assuming they return the phone to you, factory reset it. Be sure to secure your phone with a password, pin, etc. that no one else has.
3) Please use this as a starting place of available information to begin dealing with this sort of issue:

If the phone is rooted install 3c tools then go to app management and freez it, or force uninstall. It is impossible not to uninstall it. Factory reset if that does not work.

Turn off your phone. Remove the sim card (never use it again).
Go to your provider. Either get a new phone and sim, or have them show you how to put your phone back to its new state. You'll need a new sim card. Don't reuse the SD card if you were using one.

Welcome to Android Central! I moved this from the Android Apps forum to the General Help forum, since the former is intended for developers to promote their apps.

Have you already tried going to Settings>Security>Device Administrators, and seeing if that Aurora app is listed there? If so, uncheck it, then go to the Settings>Apps menu and see if you can uninstall it now. But a factory reset would probably be a safer overall approach. If you do that, make sure you set it up as a new phone, and don't restore from a previous backup.
