My phone is malfunctioning since the update to android 5.0

I just updated my phone to android lollipop, and there is an issue with my homescreens and widgets. Whenever i select a widget or and icon on the homescreens or on the apps and widget pages, a popup message saying "Unfortunately, touchwiz home has stopped". It then does not allow me to edit, add or delete any icons or widgets to my homescreens.
Does anyone know how to solve this issue?

Try a Cache Partition wipe, good practice after a system update.
If still no go, get back to us.
