About 3 hours ago I got an alert on my Note 10+ that moisture has been detected in the charger port. I haven't been outside or near any water since this morning. Not sure why it popped up, and it doesn't seem to want to go away.

Make sure your port clean , I had this on and off with my note 9 might need send to Samsung as there no fix that I know of .

I may try and do a chat with support if it doesn't resolve itself soon. I pulled the clear skin off the bottom b/c it looked liked it was peeling up on the thin sections on either side of the port.

Cool..let me know

If everything is clean and dry, you into the phone's app manager and select the option to view system apps. Look to see if you have a USB app. If so, select it and clear the app data, then reboot the phone. This fixed it once on my wife's S7 a while back, and I've seen others report success on other Samsung phones too.

I ended having to send my Note 8 in for repair over that error/notification, they told me that it would take 12 days to fix so I burned my bi-annual upgrade and got a second Note 8 and sold the repaired one when I got it back.
Hopefully clearing data in usb app or simply cleaning the charging port will do the trick and you don't have to deal with Samsung support, if you do... Have valium ready :-(

It seemed to fix itself after I pulled the skin off the bottom. The thin pieces at the top and bottom surrounded the port had gotten really loose. I don't know if maybe those little pieces were getting pushed inside the port when I charged or not, but all is good now.

This is one of the reasons I switched to the newest-generation of magnetic cables. No more worrying about *anything* getting inside the charging port. Not to mention, the connection quality and consistency is impeccable. With Android auto, 1 out of 5 times I would need to re-insert a regular cable because of a connection issue. With magnetic cables, I had to reconnect 2 out of every 100 (maybe.) Last but not least, letting the magnet snap the cable into place while driving is a joy in and of itself :)

Good point, I also like it has wireless charging just for this reason or wear on the usb port .
