Android Central Question
My phone is slow -> factory reset -> phone is fast -> after a couple of days, slow again. Why?
I have a Motorola G8 plus with Android 10. Over the last couple of months I have experienced that it gets very slow and unresponsive, especially in the first 10-30 seconds after unlocking it.
Then, unrelated, I switched launcher from Nova to the default one - and suddenly the phone was as new again! I though that Nova was to blame and went on with my life. But during the next couple of days, the phone became slower and slower until it was back to the slow-level it had with Nova.
After some slow weeks, I tried to factory reset the phone. I manually reinstalled only the most basic apps etc, and then the phone was as new once again! But once again, the phone became slower and slower during the next couple of days, without me doing anything special (like installig apps or anything).
So to my question. Any theory about what this is about? I mean, clearly there is no fault in the hardware since it works as intended for a couple of days. And the software has shown that it CAN be fast.
