Low and behold I checked for updates yet again expecting nothing and it started downloading an update. Afterwords it says 5.1.1 and Samsung pay, but I'm not on a major 5 carrier. I'm on the regional carrier ntelos and I have an unlocked s6. And chase (my bank) has been added to Samsung pay. So big week for me!

)It's a Virginia and West Virginia based carrier. It was an OTA update so I assume it was from them. But since all they sell are unlocked s6's could it have come from Samsung? I'm an iPhone convert and don't quite get the update system for android. It's an oddball model too sm-g920r7.Wow nice! What carrier?

Ntelos told me that this update was pushed from Samsung. So my s6 does not have the carrier "bloatware" some of you guys are talking about.
