I have a 2010 Samsung model SGH-1927. Up until about about a month ago, it was perfect. It's ideal for me because the slide-out keyboard helps accommodate my arthritic hands.
Then the phone kept on restarting itself. It was doing it with the slightest touch of any button. I tried popping off the casing and using a butter knife to pop out the power button a bit, since it was acting tetchy and turning off at the lightest touch. That seemed to do the trick for about a week. Then the restarting over and over again started up again. I would genuinely love to buy the new Samsung with the slide-out keyboard, but there's no way I could ever be able to afford it, so I have to settle for older models.
I know something is might be messing up the power button, but could it also be a battery problem?
