My phone keeps shutting down on me when its at 80 battery or more unless its on a charger, why is it doing this?

my phone keeps shuting down on me when its at 80% battery or more unless its on a charger

when its on a charger it works perfect until i take it off the charger then i have like 1 min or so until it turns off and i have a hard time getting back on it...my storage is only half way full to and my battery is at 80%

maybe you battery is overheating. check it out the temperature of your phone either manually or using an application that gives you the exact temparature of the phone.

After that, you can look for the apps (or maybe the hardware) that cause this shutting down.
