AC Question

I have a Samsung Galaxy A5 and I'm having issues charging. To begin, a few months back the buttons on the bottom of the phone stopped working so I downloaded an app to replace them, then shortly after the phone screen would randomly switch to the default background and the bottom half of the screen would be black making the phone fairly unusable. My brother fixed the second issue the last time I was home and it went on without incident for months. Now all of a sudden my phone won't charge unless an intense amount of pressure is put on a specific spot on the screen, I know it's related to my previous problems because the screen sometimes flickers to the previously mentioned background/blank issue.

I've tried different chargers with no difference, A5's don't have access to the battery so I can't take a look at that. Please help, I'm not under warranty anymore and I can't afford to get a new one, I need this for school, work, and to stay connected to my family. It hardly ever gets past 50% because it takes more pressure the higher the percentage is it seems.
