My phone started popping up the message "Unfortunately, Google Search has stopped."

I have a Radiant, Model Z740, Android Ver. 4.1.2. This started yesterday and it is happening constantly. I can still make and receive calls, can receive a text, but cannot send a text. What happened and how do I make it stop?

It could be a glitch in teh matrix. Have you tried restarting the phone? Know any friends having the same issue on your network?

Happened to my husband's phone also. I found a fix from one of your members who responding to another person with the same problem.
She said:
Go to Settings
Go to Language and Input
Under Keyboard & Input Methods, you should see Android Keyboard (not checked) and Google Voice Typing (checked).
Uncheck Google and check Android Keyboard.

It worked!!

Go to Play Store > Options > My Apps, Find "Google" and update it. Latest version released on 21/9/15, 33.63MB fixes this issue
