My phone wont let me call one contact

My phone won't allow me to call my boyfriend. He can call me and text me on my phone and I will receive them but he won't receive any calls or texts from me. I've looked and i don't have him blocked and he don't have me blocked. How do I fix this?

Does the phone attempt to send the text or make the call? (That would indicate that he does have you blocked.)

Or does it just not do anything when you send him a text or call him? (Check the number - you may have entered it wrong.)
