My Pixel 2 is unresponsive and soft reset won’t work

My Pixel 2 won’t turn on. The screen is black. I have tried holding down ‘volume down’ and ‘power’ for 8 seconds, and tried holding down the power button for 30 seconds. Neither produces a response. The phone has been charging all night and I have tried several chargers.

Welcome to Android Central! The battery or some other motherboard component might have failed. If you got the phone from Google, it should still be under warranty -- contact them for warranty repair or replacement.
