Still setting it up today, and haven't put on the dbrand skin, or tinkered it with the Pixelbook Pen yet, but love it so far. :)

Thanks everyone!

Since I'm setting this up to use outside of the office/on the go, does anyone use Microsoft Office often enough to tell me if the apps are better (or worse) than 365 on the browser?

The places where I need to work on MS Office files have internet access so I rely heavily on the web version of Office.

The Android versions can read/write Office documents and can display them fairly well, but if you use custom fonts, the font substitution is going to jack up the on screen presentation...and you won't be able to CREATE documents with moderate to advanced formatting.

IMO, the only reason to install the Android versions of MS Office is if you will find yourself without internet access. The functionality available in MS Office for Android is on par with Google Docs.

^^^Good to know, thanks!

Edit: looks like working on the web version of Office works just fine for my needs. Editing an Excel file now, no need for the app version at the moment.

Yep, but I wish the magnets were a tiny bit stronger -- it doesn't take much to knock the pen off, and if you're not paying too close attention, it might get left behind!

True, though I did do this a couple of times already...not knock the pen off or lose it, but placed it like he said. :) I did get the Bellroy clip, so I'll be using that moving forward.
