My quest for a good screen locker

I seem to be on this never ending quest to find a locker I like. They all seem to be missing at least one feature I need.

The things I look for in a locker are:

1. Ability to show notification (text, email, etc) right on the lock screen
2. Ability to specify various times before the screen locks.
3. Shortcuts to commonly used apps
4. Ability to display custom text on lockscreen (i.e, "If found, please call 000-000-0000")
5. Clock and weather on lock screen (most have this)
6. Battery percentage on lock screen (most have this too)
7. Music widget on lockscreen so I don't have to unlock to skip songs, etc

So far I've tried the following:

Locker Master

So far the best one. It includes pretty much all of the features above, except that there's a limit on the timeout of 15 seconds. That's pretty short for me, as I'd like to set it to 1 minute. Still, that's a pretty minor drawback. This is the only one other than stock that allows for custom text. You can also make your own lockscreens.

Not bad. I tried this because I was using their launcher. But only some of the locker themes allow shortcuts, and there's no way to add custom text. More flexibility on screen timeout though (from 10 seconds to 1 hr in various increments). But no option for a music widget. Missed call and SMS notifications were on the small side and a bit difficult to read. Weather and clock were nice.

This is another nice looking locker, with excellent notifications (including SMS content on screen) and shortcut links to apps that you choose. It also has a nice clock/weather widget. This was a nice looking locker with good options (except no music widget) but what killed it for me was no timeout. The second the screen goes dark, you have to unlock it again. For me that's very tedious.

Another great looking locker, this one allows you to select which apps you want to get notifications for. It has shortcuts for phone and camera, and a + sign to let you add more. Like CM, you get SMS content on the lockscreen (if you want it), but unlike CM you can change the timeout from 5 seconds up to 5 minutes. Lots of theme and wallpaper choices (but still no music widget!). This would be my second choice after Locker Master.

Stock S5 Lock screen
This is what I'm actually using at the moment. Not only do you get custom text, but you can do fingerprint unlocking, which none of the lockers in the play store seem to do. You only get a camera shortcut though, and customization is limited, but for stock it's actually pretty good. Lots of timeout options, plus the option to lock instantly with the power button.

What locker do you use? Care to share?

Nils locker is good. The only thing I know for sure it does is the notifications on the lockscreen. I'm not sure if it does the other things you are asking.

Tried a couple, back to stock, lock timeout set to 10 minutes.

I use the special text to show my name and my wife's phone number. That way, if I loose the phone, and IF the finder is honest, they can call her and say "found your phone". Knock on wood, never lost a phone away from the house.

I do the same thing. I've never lost a phone, but I've returned one that way/

I'll try that. I don't care about Lolipop. I'm sticking with 4.4.2 for the life of this phone.

I've been using C Locker for the past few days (along with C Notice) and so far I'm liking it quite a lot. I'll eventually buy the pro version once the complaints on the Play store about the timeout reverting to 10 seconds all the time go away. Thanks for the suggestion, not sure how I missed this one all this time, other than thinking it was the same thing as C-Locker, which crashed for me right off the get go.

Have any of you C Locker people noticed a change with the last update? My weather icon is gone from C Locker and there's no option to put it back.

Has anyone else noticed this?
