My Radio Shack called and said I have an upgrade

Thought by the new rules I would have to wait another year, but my local radio shack where I bought the OG Evo called to tell me I can upgrade on the 24th for $100 with trade or $200 if I keep my old phone. Is this true? Can I do this deal (or make it better) with someone else?

This is only somewhat true...i did it and it said i was only eligible for $75 off, but the sprint store told me i was eligible for a full rebate...

In the system you are probably only eligible for the $75 upgrade but its been talked to death in many forums that If you bought your EVO at launch a year ago they are extended you the courtesy of a one time full $150 upgrade if you were not eligible for one.

You must be a Premier GOLD member to qualify for the full $150 yearly upgrade rebate ... I would double check your status if I were you ... Either with a different Rep at a different store or call costumer service ... I'm curious on how your even qualified for a $75 rebate with an account only 4-5 months old.

Texting Upgrade tells me that I'm not eligible until 4/1/12, but Radio Shack insists this is an exclusive offer with Sprint because I bought the Evo at launch.

Dont ask me, but its for real, cuz i had gotten talked into buying the NS4G and got it at the 2 year price of $200... but i just took it back and had them reset my rebate cuz it was trash and also cuz imma get the 3d...
