My ringtones and notification tones keep changing....(help)

Ok...i use hancent sms but i have a dave chapelle notification tone set....every morning i wake up and my settings have changed on thier own...how do i stop this....its getting annoying to redo evrrything everyday....plz help thanks

Well I am glad to see that someone else is having the same issue as I. I kept thinking that I was crazy but my phone would change tones and notifications as well. For the last couple of days I havent had any issues. I moved my tones and notifications to where you are able to choose them from the setting options. I am not sure if this is what has fixed my problem or not....

I know mine would get changed if they stayed in download folder. Fixed when I moved and renamed.

Cyber Warrior answered this in another thread. You just need to add specific named folders to the root directory of the SD card while the phone is connected to a computer via USB.

Set up folders on your SD card like this:
Music
Ringtones
Notifications
Alarms
Movies
Videos
Pictures
..and place the files in their correct folders.
