my s10 wireless smartphone charger stops at 100 percent but then does not start back up when the bat

so, when i put my phone on my charger at home everything is fine, when i get up it at 100 percent in the morning.

when i get in my car it is at like 96-98 percent most of the time which is normal, only problem i am having is when it's on my wireless car charger and hits 100 percent thats it, it will loose battery but never get charged back up unless i remove from the charger and put it back. Unless the wireless charger is setup to start restart at a certain percentage?

The "charger" is just a power supply. the phone decides when to charge the battery. (The actual charger is inside the phone.) I don't have an S10, but that might be normal operation for an S10. (I assume it's not rooted, and you're not running mcs - that would be normal operation unless you had it set to 100 or 100 99.)

Could be something with that wireless charger , do you have another wireless charger at home or office to test if happens there ?

That's not true for my iOttie wireless car charge mount. I frequently use both Google maps and Google Play while charging. Even with both drawing power, the charger gives me a positive charge.

Why would it be different for wireless in a car opposed to wired? My USB port keeps my phones at a hundred percent running Android Auto with Google Maps and Spotify. If you mean because wireless runs hotter maybe.

thats sort of my point.some brands doesnt give continuous charge.some brand gives non stop charge.wireless chargers makes the phone hotter.as heat is in the phone and the wireless pad.wired charging is different as only the phone gets hot.

It depends
Wired / wireless same from 5% to 50 for getting hot as its using very fast charging at that stage then after 50 % it slows the pace down and cooler.

If your starting from 50% not much heat til 100%

Wireless does tend to run hotter than wired if the device is in use while charging. Now that I think of it one of my TYLT stands stops charging when the phone overheats automatically.

I've noticed almost same by touch in early stages but I also have the Samsung fast wireless charger with built in fan , I only heard it once turn on if I remember correctly.
