My S3 Seems Slower Than Usual?

Lately my S3 seems to bog down a lot. Whenever I click to go to settings, or open gmail, etc it takes longer than usual to complete the action. Especially bad when something is downloading or updating. Is this a common thing with the S3? I didn't think it was, so I thought I would ask here.

I tried all the tweaks and tips from some of the S3 threads I found an AC (and also using Google), but there is still some lag when clicking on items (settings, apps, etc.). I may try to clear the system cache and see if that helps.
