My S4 has slowed to a crawl

4.4.2 on AT&T. I have enough RAM but wondering if there is something I can do?

This happened recently. Chrome takes longer to load, apps hang and it is very frustrating.

I'm on 4.4.2 and was experiencing quite a bit of slowdown a few months ago. Give it a factory restore, back it up if you want. I'm not sure why, but my phone is as slick as ever again after the reset.

Boot to recovery, wipe data/factory reset. Load apps from play store, sort a few settings out and you're good to go!! Welcome to androids quirks haha

Yep! Being a open system,,I think that over time the phone just collects enough random crap that it experiences this 'slowdown'
