My S5 recently upgraded to Lollipop and now phone won't play music via Aux in car

Hi all please help. i recently upgraded my samsung S5 software to Lollipop and suddenly it wont play music via aux cable in my car. i've tested with another phone and it works, i've tried to test with earphones incase the port is damaged but it works. help!
