My s6 won't charge..

It was charging fine this morning I left it off my charger for a few hours and now when I try to connect it. It doesn't start to charge I got this phone a few weeks ago.. strange part is when I turn my phone off and plug it in. On the screen it shows battery image with bolt

Have you tried a different cable and/or charging plug? One of those might be failing.

Yeh I tried all original samsung cables and 3rd party. Only way it will charge is through wireless

I tried a different Samsung wall plug that didn't work but I just haven't tried a different Samsung USB cord. I tried a Aukey cable

If you power off the phone and plug it in, does it actually charge the battery? I know that you see the bolt, but does the battery level actually rise after it's been plugged in for a while?

Also, if the phone is on and plugged in, does the battery level actually decrease?

When you notice that the charging icon doesn't appear when the phone is on, is this usually when you're holding the phone in your hand, or also if it's just lying on the table? Jiggle the plug where it connects to the phone to see if there might be a loose connection.

So I just got this problem with my phone. It won't charge via USB and only wireless charging. Did you find a fix?
