My s7 galaxy will not play individual contact notification sounds with third party app

Using textra for messages. I've turned off notifications from stock message app but do not have a 'default tone' to set main settings at. Using 3rd party 'Sound Pro' to set profiles in order to change all volumes with one step. No matter which profile I set sound pro on, it plays the notification sound in the main settings of the phone. Can I rename a tone to start with the word 'default? Any suggestions?

I don't think Sound Pro affects Textra settings. It has its own notification settings.
