Android Central Question

I have changed around 7 USB charging cables since past 5 months for my Samsung Galaxy S7 (Not Edge). Every time I buy a new USB cable it stops charging after some odd 20 days. For sometime I can pull the cable a little from the charging slot and it works for some days and after that it doesn't work at all.
Please tell me if I can fix this at home.

Try not saving money on cables - buy one good quality cable - Anker, maybe. Cheap connectors don't last long and if the wires are too thin they could burn out from a normal quick charge. (Copper is expensive - a company that sells a mile of cable a month can save a lot of money by making the cables out of half as much copper.)

Might also wanna make sure that the USB ports are clean and free of lint. Be VERY careful how you clean them.
