My samsung galaxy note 2 stole by a theif for a week now still i cant trace it

im afraid that my cell phoe is factory reseted but im not sure if all the program in my handset will be affected including the samsung find my mobile setting if in case they will do? Evryday im monitoring my cellphone. I also have avg app installed and has avg theif protection on, even the sim card change notification i didnt receive from my mail its always offline. Anyone can answer me if all the data including the one i set in find my mobile will be lost if they will factory reset my phone.

Hello. There's a few aspects to your post. If is definitely stolen and been reset, then your information will be wiped. This is a second best scenario for you, right, you would rather have it back intact but at least your information would be safe. Phone thieves are not interested in your data.
What about blocking your imei through your carrier?

Your device won't be located if Location is off. With the Android Device Manager service you can however set it to either Lock the phone when it's turned back on, and also leave a 'return me' message on the screen and a contact number they can dial. This will work without Location on, and of course whoever found it will want to return it, most do.
Then you can also choose to Wipe / reset your phone when turned back on, if stolen. A week has gone by though and I'm not sure if this still works after being reset.

Android Device Manager would have been set by default when the Note 2 was new.
If you tried AVG and Samsung Find, ADM may have been unchecked in Security - Device Administrators.
